These are indeed heavy duty. Walnut stain with what appears to be a clear finish. I don't know if it's waterproof or not, but water beaded up on it. Because I live in the rainy Northwest, I think that I'll give it a coat of urethane just to make sure. The wheels are plenty solid enough to support a heavy pot with brakes on two of them. For the price point you would be hard pressed to find a better deal. I highly recommend this product.

very well made you'll spend easily the grade for a heavy plants potted plants that I put on go in and out my house in the winter definitely buy again recommend highly

This is a well crafted plant caddy; it is sturdy and attractive but just as important, it has locking wheels for stability to keep it from moving after placement. I¡¯m trusting my fig tree to this caddy.
